Regarding the technical aspect, I wanted to go back to the basic. After several years of trying to make films that consist of too much close-ups, over-the-top camera movements, unnecessary hand-held shake, and enjoyable-to-watch-but-often-nonsense gimmicks such as invisible transitions, I eventually got tired of them. I tried to keep this film as simple as possible, with the king of filmmaking equipment: a tripod. This film reflects what I feel is the joy in life.
