This video is a less then a minute intensive and rough title sequence for a french documentary series on criminal women, shown on TV in 2015. The sequence evokes the imaginary crimes of 3 women: a baby killing mother, a black widow and an "angel of death" nurse, and the imaginary stay in prison of a fourth woman. Everything is mixed on the very fast tempo of a music specially composed by Medhi Elmorabit and rises in intensity. For this documentary series, I wanted to avoid a simple trailer and I try to reach the quality of TV series titles. I had very little money to shot this sequence and a great part of it went to the prison footages because we had to build a fake jail and a fake mugshot wall. In France, mugshots are not as fancy as in american movies: cops take your picture in front of a dirty grey wall with no inscription... I know it because they shot me for (their) fun... But the most difficult was to rent the whole level of a hospital for 300€... Women Off the Law (Femmes accusées) is a french documentary series shown on french Canal+ channel Planète+ Justice in late 2015. I've wrote, directed and shot this title sequence. Production: Program33
