My arrival in San Francisco at the end of the summer was long awaited after high altitudes, hot deserts, and a severe lack of sleep. You never really appreciate the simple luxuries you're given until you try living out of a car for three weeks. Though at times it was a definite struggle, the temporary pain and loneliness were immensely outweighed by the beauty these places hold.
