Inspired by real events, Los Niños Sicarios refers to the American teenage hitmen working for major Mexican drug cartels. Along the southwestern border states the most desired recruits are Mexican-American teenage boys. Recruited as early as 12 years old from some of America’s worst ghettos — US border towns — the boys receive 9 months of military-style training deep in the Mexican desert before being sent back over the border to live and work in sleeper cell groups within America’s suburbs. Their job is to kill targets in the U.S. and Mexico, with pay ranging between $10,000 to $50,000 per hit. This is a day in the life of an American born 'little assassin.'
